Dinner Party – Rendezvous &
Beale Street

The Rendezvous
has some of the best BBQ in Memphis, served just the way it has been
since the doors opened in 1948. Most of the waiters have been there
forever and are terrific.
The restaurant will set up a buffet
style line and offer an appetizer of cheese/pickles/sausage/peppers
and a dinner line to include Ribs/Pork Shoulder/Chicken with Beans
and Slaw. They will give us part of the upstairs room. It will offer
everyone an opportunity to enjoy a great meal and to head to Beale
Street. We are planning to get the bus to pick us up at 6:00pm at
the Holiday Inn, take us to the Rendezvous, and pick everyone up
from Beale Street at 10:00pm to go back to the Hotel. Anyone
wishing to stay longer could get a taxi back to the Holiday Inn.

Beale Street
The Blues rang out over the cotton fields of
Mississippi Delta, and then migrated to the streets and clubs of
Beale. It went on to influence the sounds of music all over the
world. When other cities show off their skylines, we show off our
incredible sounds.
