How to Join ASHRAE

Anyone with an engineering education, OR technical training, OR work experience related to the areas of heating, ventilating, or air-conditioning may join ASHRAE. You need not be a degreed engineer or Licensed Professional Engineer. The organization is more interested in your knowledge and experience in this field than in your resume.

Of the 210 ASHRAE Society members residing in the Memphis chapter region, some 189 have chosen to join the local chapter. The local chapter holds monthly meetings with technical content, provides seminars, plus other educational opportunities relevant to HVAC&R. Chapter membership provides a matchless opportunity to share your knowledge, learn from others, develop business contacts, and contribute to the advancement of the industry.

ASHRAE Membership provides:

Affiliation with the premier international organization for HVAC&R.

Annual reference books and monthly publications as part of membership.

The opportunity to learn about and contribute to research that educates the public and improves building mechanical systems.

Chapter Membership Provides:

Opportunities to interact with local leaders in HVAC&R, to improve your knowledge and your standing in this field.

Career advancement through business contacts and educational opportunities.

Monthly newsletter, annual member roster, plant tours, Professional Development Hour (PDH) credits, and Christmas Party.
