Annual Event Calendar

The Memphis Chapter meets monthly, September through May. Generally, it is the second Tuesday of the month.

Our meeting place is at the Kemmons Wilson Center Holiday Inn on the University of Memphis campus at 3700 Central Ave. Please check the newsletter to verify the current meeting location.

Lunch meetings begin at 11:30, and include an excellent meal. The meal is prepaid for local chapter members as part of their annual dues. Visitors can note on the sign-in sheet at the meeting whether they or their sponsor should be billed for the meal. Student members always free meals.

Student Infrastructure tour of the FedEx Forum - 2007

I am pleased to announce that this year’s infrastructure tour of the FedEx Forum is now OFFICIALLY set.  We will meet in the Forum’s Grand Lobby (west side of arena near ticket windows) at 1:30 PM on Wednesday November 14.  Tour typically lasts around 2 hours.  I recommend arriving a few minutes early as we will begin at 1:30 sharp.  Please drop me a quick note or phone call if you plan to attend as I need to give a tentative head count.  The Grizzlies/Forum management staff also agreed to waive the tour entry fees this year, so all you need to bring are your questions about this awesome facility.

As in previous years, we will open the tour to the entire ASHRAE chapter membership, but it is primarily an event for you, the students.  I look forward to hearing from all of you.  Let’s shoot for a really nice turnout this year.
